Modern Spanish tapas in Kendall Square
Kika Tapas is one of the newest additions to the fast growing Kendall Square restaurant scene, located in the Watermark Building at the corner of Broad Canal Way and Third Street.
Paying homage to the classic Pedro Almodovar movie- KIKA, is a fun spot for an after work get together, business dinner or first date whether sitting at one of the round booths or on the spacious out- door patio with views of Boston. The restaurant features an eye-popping interior inspired by the deliriously melodramatic, vividly colored films of Pedro Almodovar: reds and blacks and whites rendered in an intricate mix of patterns, with zebra woods providing a soothing counterpoint in grays and whites.
From the guys behind Tapeo (Newbury Street) and Solea Restaurant (Moody Street, Waltham) & Tapas Bars, Kika Tapas rocks a retro-y "Brazil circa 1970" vibe with a long white quartz bar where a crazy list of Signature Cocktails named after Almodovar films or characters are available. The dining areas offer round banquettes in bold red and black stitched with random lettering. Upon entering Kika a collage of Almodovar film posters greets you and even a giant pair of Kika's legs over a doorway.
Our private dining area can accommodate up to 36 people for a seated tapas and paella dinner or a stand around tapas buffet.
In addition to the private dining room our bar and lounge areas are also available for a semi private Cocktail, Sangria and Tapas parties. The entire restaurant or patio are also available for private functions.
